Cheryl Ann Hitchens, 65, of Atchison, Kansas died March 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held on 2:00PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Cline officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service. Memorials are suggested to final expenses. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com
Cheryl was born on March 14, 1959, in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of James and Betty (Hill) Cline. She married Sam Hitchens on January 10, 1984, and he survives at home. She was a member of Faith Valley Church of God and had a deep love for her lord. She enjoyed reading the bible, listening to Christian music, painting ceramics, Omaha Zoo, snow babies, bird watching, and caring for her flowers and plants. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, sons, Rick Hitchens, Brian (Amanda) Hitchens, daughters, Diane (Bob) Grippin, Cindy (Jeremiah) Sanders, fourteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren with two on the way, brothers, Tom (Connie) Cline, Dan Cline, Mike (Betty) Cline, Paul (Tracy) Cline, and sister-in-laws, Judy Cline and Diane Cline. She is preceded by her parents, brothers, Ron Cline, James Cline, Gary Cline, and sister-in-law Cathy Cline.
