She is the mother of the late Velvet Marquez and Larry Marquez, Jr. and the daughter of Charles and Abbrysinia Sam.
Proceeded in death by her fathers, Rogers Laugand, Sr. and Charles Sam; brother, Rogers Laugand, Jr.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Steven Marquez; her mother, Abbrysinia Sam her siblings, Roger Laugand (Cheryl), Ramon Sam (Warrine), Sonya Laugand, Anita Redding (Damon), Patricia Sam (Craig), Arthur Laugand, Joseph Laugand, Margo Laugand (Rahim), Charlotte Laugand (Terry), Eleria Laugand (Michael); 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
