Cheryl A. O'Rourke of Hubbard, Ohio, passed away on Saturday October 3, 2009 at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia, PA. She was 44 years old. Mrs. O'Rourke was born in March 19, 1965 in Youngstown, OH to Dale O. and Shirley (Smith) Fisher. Cheryl was a 1983 graduate of Brookfield High School and the Trumbull Career and Technical Center. During high school she worked for Williams IGA in Vienna, OH and had continued work there until her illness prevented her as the office manager. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time gardening as well as decorating her home for the different season throughout the year. Mrs. O'Rourke is survived by her husband Keith whom she married on October 27, 2006; her son Christopher Myers; two daughters Crystal Myers and Rebecca Myers all of Hubbard, OH; her mother Shirley Fisher; her two brothers Dale R. Fisher and his wife Jackie and Dean A. Fisher and his wife Joy all of Brookfield, OH. Cheryl also leaves behind her two nephews and three nieces and her grandson. She was preceded in death by her father in 2006. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, Brookfield, Ohio from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Seeger officiating. Burial will be at Brookfield Township Cemetery. The family suggests that contributions be made in Cheryl's memory to her family who will be establishing a memorial fund in honor of her courageous battle with her cancer.
