Cheryl Plumeri Obituary

Born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey on January 1,1958, Cheryl developed a passion for aviation early in life, leading her to serve honorably in the United States Air Force. Following her military service, she continued her commitment to aviation as an air traffic controller, a role which she cherished deeply.
Beyond her professional life, Cheryl had a profound love for horses and barrel racing. Her green thumb was evident in the vibrant gardens she cultivated, bringing beauty and joy to all who visited.
Cheryl is survived by her loving family. Surviving her memories include her children, Bradford (Tracie) MacClemmy, Jessica MacClemmy, Melissa (Bob Pintye) MacClemmy, Erica (Anthony) Cooper and Alicia (Kyiel) Lee; brother, Vincent (Karen) Zullo; many other family members including Katherine Zullo; cousins, nieces, nephews, many grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and best friends, Mary Wunder and Molly.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Plumeri; parents, Joseph and Dolores Zullo; brothers, Joseph and Michael Zullo; and sisters, Patricia Chagnon and Christel Bialoblocki.
A memorial service to honor Cheryl's life will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Kentucky on March 7, 2025, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting Cheryl's passion for veterans.
Cheryl's dedication to her country, her profession, and her family will be remembered and cherished by all that knew her.
