Tyler Plumeri

It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Tyler Plumeri on July 17, 2025. Born in Louisville on April 12th,1994 to John and Tracy Plumeri, Tyler attended St. Raphael Parish School, graduated from Trinity High School in 2012 and the University of Louisville in 2016. Tyler enjoyed a successful and rewarding career as a strategic account executive at the Louisville location of Waystar, a healthcare technology company.

Tyler enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a family man who loved his wife, Jenna, and two daughters, Lyla and Remi, with all his heart. When Tyler wasn't at work or spending time with his family, he would be working in his yard, on a project at his house or one of his investment properties. Wherever he was, we could count on his daughters Lyla and Remi being at his side. He either hosted Sunday cookouts or would be at his parents' house with his family for a cookout. He enjoyed golfing, watching sports and playing the ponies. He had a kind heart and treated everyone equally. He had many friends, with many of them considering him their best friend. That's who Tyler was – a best friend to all, loving husband, doting father, amazing son, grandson, brother and person who we dearly love and will be forever missed within our hearts.

Tyler is survived by his beloved wife, Jenna; daughters, Lyla and Remi; parents, John and Tracy Plumeri; sister, Carly Plumeri (John Hakemoller); brothers, Trey and Peyton Plumeri; grandparents, John and Linda Schulz, Pat Plumeri and Debbie King; his uncles, James O. (Jimmy) King, P.J. Plumeri (Jamie), Steven Schulz (Robyn), S. Matthew Reed ( Emily); his aunts, Kathryn (Katie) King (Ronnie Harris), Gina Wessel (Greg) and Stacey Smith (Curtis); along with numerous extended family and close friends who will forever cherish their memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James O. (Jim) King, Jr.; and grandmother, Rebecca (Becky) King.

Visitation will be held 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 24th, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. His funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Friday at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Avenue, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
