Cheryl Ruth Rapczak

Cheryl Ruth Rapczak age 69 of Niles passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday February 20, 2026 at her residence. She was born on Sept. 10, 1956 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Julius Anthony Rapczak and Doris Eileen (Stillwell) Rapczak. Cheryl had lived in Niles for the last 5 years formerly of Newton Falls. She worked in the Maintenance Dept for TMHA (Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority) in Warren for 10 years. Cheryl also worked as a home health aid for Laurie Ann Nursing Home in Newton Falls for 10 years retiring in 2013. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, doing arts & crafts, and spend time with family and friends especially her grandchildren. Cheryl also loved baking with her niece Robin Michelle "Robbie Shell". She is preceded in death by: her parents, 2 sisters: Yvonne Kandel, Julie Sallaz, and 1 granddaughter: Dakota Wargo.

She is survived by: her daughter: Tonya Rapczak (William Hall Jr.) of Niles, 1 sister: Elaine Rapczak-Scott of West Farmington, OH, 1 brother: Anthony & Linda Rapczak of Newton Falls, a former son in law: Brian Wargo of Niles, 2 grandchildren: Jacob Rapczak, Terrace Wargo, 3 great grandchildren: Ivy, Oaklynn, and Eliana and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Tuesday Feb 24, 2026 at 2:00pm with Pastor Bill Carter officiating. Calling hours will be from 12:00- 2:00pm. Cremation will follow the service.
