Rose Mary Bartlett age 78 of Newton Falls passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday March 19, 2026 at the Mercy Health Hospice of the Valley by Compassus in Poland OH. She was born on Aug. 27, 1947 in Warren, OH the daughter of the late Andrew Fleeman and Julia (Cybak) Fleeman. Rose lived in Newton Falls her entire life and graduated from Newton Falls High School in the Class of 1965. She was married to William Earl Bartlett for almost 50 years until his death in 2020. Rose was the owner & operator of the Chit Chat Lounge in Newton Falls for 33 years until she retired and sold the bar in 2006. She loved gambling, reading, playing bingo, going to Chinese Auctions, watching crime shows on TV, and playing June's Journey on her phone. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, and 1 sister: Anna Mae Fleeman.
She is survived by: 1 daughter: Carla Beckinger and her partner Richard Knoske of Newton Falls, 2 sons: Jimmy & Shannon Bartlett of Glenpool, OK, Michael & Jamie Bartlett of Kinsman, OH, 1 sister: Patricia & Roy Harvey of Newton Falls, 1 brother: Harry & Theresa Fleeman of Ravenna, OH, 17 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
