Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Sanches, age 69, of Sterlington, Louisiana, will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Louisiana with Dr. Clyde Sanchez and Rev. Patrick Petrus officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Wade Sanches; father, Arles Shows; sister, Pam Manley.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wade Sanches of Sterlington, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Jenny Sanches of Limon, Costa Rica; daughter, Kimberly Sanches of Monroe, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; mother, Bobbie Jones Shows of Oak Grove, Louisiana; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Debbie Shows of Oak Grove, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Lonnie Blades of Sterlington, Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Saul Shows, Shaun Shows, Cole Shows, Patrick Coulter, Jason Barefield, Craig LaBeau, Trey McIntosh, Brent Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Nettles and Ken Nix.
