I was so sad to read of Cheryls passing.
I knew Cheryl from the neighborhood when we were kids. Her sister Teri, Cheryl and I were thick as thieves for a few years. We spent pretty much every day together after school from when they moved in on N.E 39th street until I moved away from N.E 38th circle a year? later. I even went to Confirmation classes with them...lol
We lost touch after I moved away:( . I ran into her right after she married Rocky and we got caught up and then saw her again after she had both of her girls and one more time after her and Rocky divorced. I tried for many years to find her or her sister Teri on social media to be able to reconnect but I never did. :( I did send a message to Sam once but because she had no idea who I was it never went anywhere.
I will ALWAYs remember her laugh, her short blond hair and her big hoop earrings from middle school/high school. :)
She was very kind to me and I loved hanging with her family-especially because mine was always in chaos.
I will forever be sooooooooooooo saddened that we were never able to reconnect-it was always a hope of mine. I would have loved to have had that adult friendship with her.
I am sure she will be missed by so many, especially based on me still missing her friendship 45 years later.
My thoughts are with her family, and I will rejoice when I get to heaven, and I can look her up and resume our friendship.

I loved this woman with all my heart. She was kind, loving, funny, smart, caring. I could go on forever listing her outstanding qualities. She was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I'll miss her forever.

Cheryl was a good partner to brother Paul and a great "Bonus Mom". May she rest in peace.
