Cheryl Annette Stricklin

Cheryl Annette Stricklin of Sullivan, Missouri left this life at Washington, MO on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 12 days. She was born September 14, 1963 in Salem, MO to Jessie Stricklin Sr. and Betty Lou Godbey Stricklin.

Cheryl was employed at Meramac Group in Sullivan, retiring in 2025 after 25 years of service.

Because of her loving the outdoors, many good memories were made while salmon fishing on her trip to Wisconsin along with the times she was fishing near her home. In her younger years, Cheryl loved to deer hunt. She also spent hours working in her vegetable garden and tending to her beautiful flower garden.

She loved family and always enjoyed the time spent with them along with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Sr. and Betty Lou Stricklin; and sister-in-law, Deloris Stricklin.

Cheryl will be lovingly missed by her companion, Jorge Rodriguez, of Sullivan, MO; daughter, Natasha Volner, companion, Adam Bailey of Steelville, MO; son, Charles "Eddie" (Jalisha) Leasor of Hermitage, MO; four grandchildren, Kaelyn and Micah Volner, Nova Jean Leasor and Azazel Forrest; four bonus grandchildren, Curtis, Jacob, Kathryn and Matthew Bailey; one brother, Jessie "Eddie" Stricklin of Cherryville, MO; sister, Jenny (David) Wren of Steelville, MO; other relatives; and friends.

The Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, MO.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 with Pastor Mark Godbey officiating.

Committal prayer and interment will be in the New Home Cemetery, Cherryville, MO.
