Cheryl was born on March 11, 1960, in Flint, the daughter of the late Harry and Gloria (Rust) Reynolds. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School, Class of 1978. Cheryl and Dale Wangler dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 20, 1980, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Her dedication to the Swartz Creek community and schools continued through her 30-year career as a School Aide, retiring in 2016. Cheryl cherished time spent with family and friends and was always present supporting her loved ones at sports and other activities. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, participating in activities such as camping, snowmobiling and kayaking. Cheryl and Dale were active members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge, and for the past eight years they enjoyed spending winters together in Palmetto, Florida. Beyond all, she was most proud of her accomplishments as a wife, mother to her three boys, and as a grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Dale; three sons, Brad (Angie) Wangler, Dale Jr. (Katrena) Wangler, and Jared (Katie) Wangler; three grandchildren, Kolton, Korbyn, and Kynlee; six siblings, Patrice (Tony) Turner, Warren (Nicky) Reynolds, Ron (Linda) Reynolds, Wayne (Kelly) Reynolds, Dean (Anjanette) Reynolds, and Ellen (Mark) Brady; in-laws, Joyce Rust, Joan (Ron) Whaley, and Don (Linda) Wangler; and several cherished nieces, nephews along with friends Doug and Terri Zimmerman.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Dawidowicz; brother, Glen Reynolds; two nephews, Ben Dawidowicz and Marcus Turner; and in-laws, Judy and Frank Heinz and Tony Rust. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
