Cheryl Williams Obituary
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic. A graveside service will be conducted at noon Wednesday, in Jordan Cemetery.
A full obituary will be published in a later edition of The Day.

Rest easy aunt Cheryl. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. It still doesn´t feel real that you´re gone and I´m sorry I didn´t visit often but I hope you know just how much I love you and just how much I´ll always miss you. Love you always !

My wife and life partner Cheryl Perkins Williams passed away on 6/20/24. We were married for 38 years. Losing Cheryl has been by far the toughest loss I have ever endured. In the days leading up to her passing we had many conversations. Cheryl was deeply troubled by loosing those she cared for and loved. I explained to her that she will not be losing us as she will always be with us all. It is we who will lose you until we meet again. I take great comfort knowing this helped ease her burden so she could spread her wings and go find the peace we all know she deserves. It also eases my burden knowing my wife can finally rest in peace. It´s important to keep Cheryl in our hearts and thoughts as it to will over time ease all of our burdens.
Till we meet again my love, rest in peace !
