Chester Parks Obituary
He was born on June 18, 1947 in Dallas, Georgia to Mr. Eloph Clarence Parks and Gladys Duran Chapman Parks. He worked as a forklift driver for Atlanta Bonded. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Brother, Eddie Parks, Brother, Leroy Parks; Brother, Jerry Parks; Sister, Jeanette Prather; Sister, Joan DeFoor; Infant Sister, Wilma Parks.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Parks; Daughter, Tracy Marbut (Ricky); Son, Larry Parks (Selina); Grandson, Tyler Marbut; Sister, Betty McNabb; Sister, Judie Russell; Brother, Wayne Parks; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Chester Dean Parks will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 2 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2 P.M. until 5 P.M and Monday June 9, 2025 1 P.M. until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the USO Wounded Warrior Project.
