Chester lived a vibrant, sky-high life, filled with passion and purpose. An avid pilot and airplane enthusiast, he found joy in the boundless skies, just as he did on the golf course, casting a line as a fisherman, or creating culinary surprises as a home chef.
As an aerospace engineer, his brilliance helped shape the world above, while his deep faith as a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ grounded him in love and inspired all who knew him.
Chester's kind heart and sharp wit left an indelible mark on countless lives, making every moment with him a lasting gift.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 58 years, Thora; sisters Patricia and Sarah (husband Sergio); niece Alyssa; nephew Wes; great-nieces Mila and Finley and great nephew Hunter; godsons Ethan and Mason; and a wide circle of cousins and friends who will forever treasure his warmth and humor.
A memorial service to celebrate Chester's remarkable life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Boerne on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Boerne or a charity of your choice.
Chester's spirit will continue to soar in the hearts of all who loved him, a testament to a life well-lived and a legacy of joy that will never fade.
