In Loving Memory of Chloe Bernice (Woodward) Ferguson

October 19, 1997 - November 16, 2025

With hearts heavy beyond measure, we share the passing of Chloe Bernice (Woodward) Ferguson, age 28, on November 16, 2025.

Born in Machias, Maine on October 19, 1997, Chloe came into this world with a bright spirit that only grew stronger with time. She poured her whole heart into her two boys who remain the brightest reflections of her light. Her love for them ran deep and steady, and the imprint of her presence will continue to shape their lives in both visible and quiet ways.

Chloe attended the University of Maine at Farmington and was well known and loved across campus over the course of her extended educational career. Chloe held a deep and genuine passion for Special Education and teaching, believing profoundly in every child's ability to grow, flourish, and be truly seen. Her patience, empathy, and wholehearted dedication touched many lives. She also carried a joyful, playful spirit-someone who embraced playfulness as a way of living, finding laughter and light in small, everyday moments. That joy was her gift to the world.

She is preceded in death by her beloved Yaya, Terry Grant, whose memory she held close and whose arms we pray now welcome her home.

Chloe is survived by her husband, Jared Ferguson; her two sons, Toby Sullivan and Elisha Ferguson; her mother, Sara Grant; her father, Kevin Woodward II; her "stepfather," Guy West; her siblings, Alex Woodward, Hope Woodward, and Isabella Gant.

Chloe leaves behind many other family members and friends who will forever remember her goofy sense of humor, her stubborn strength, her compassionate heart, and the way she could make a room feel warmer simply by entering it. Her story-beautiful, complicated, and deeply felt-will continue to be told by those who knew her, loved her, and will always miss her.

A celebration of Chloe's life will be announced by her family at a later time.

May her memory be a blessing, and may she finally rest in peace.
