Our beloved Chloe navigated all the peaks and valleys of life for 95 blessed years, with a grace and determination that was full of spirit, love, and purpose. She was a fiercely devoted matriarch whose love for her family knew no bounds. A true lover of nature, Holden Beach was her sanctuary, where she found peace and joy in the beauty of God's creation. Her fiery spirit and wit were matched only by her boundless generosity and selfless care for others. Chloe worked with Randolph County Schools for nine years where she touched countless lives with her warm welcoming smile. She was a loyal friend and a longtime devoted member at First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her Pennyburn Community playing bingo, chatting over a meal or watching the birds - she always had a friend that adored her close by. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her incredible joy-each smile, each visit, each milestone filling her heart with warmth and pride. She cherished every moment with them, and in return, they loved and adored her deeply. Her presence was a source of comfort and love, and the bond they shared with her was truly special. Whether through a warm meal, a listening ear, or quiet acts of service, she touched countless lives with grace and kindness. Though we will miss her immensely, our hearts are comforted knowing she is now joyfully reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, family, and dear friends. Well done, good and faithful servant.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Josh Barnes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Epworth room.
