Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home on Dec. 1, 2025.
TILTON ---- Chong 'Kim' Drouin, 74, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at her home with her loving husband by her side.

Kim was born in Uiseong-gun, South Korea, to her parents Kim Moon-ok and Park Young-soon on November 15, 1951.

She came to the United States in 1976. She settled in the Lakes Region and in 1989 she married David Drouin and they made their home in Tilton for 36 years.

Kim worked at the Laconia State School from 1979 to 1989, then at Avid Engineering from 1990 to 1995. Kim started her own cleaning services in 1995 until her retirement. Kim enjoyed being outside at any time of the year. She loved her gardens and worked in them tirelessly. She never sat still, always cooking and cleaning. She loved bringing her Teriyaki wings to every family party. She always had many requests for her Kimchi. She also loved her trips to Wells Beach, Maine to relax and enjoy the beaches and of course checking out all the shops.

Kim is survived by her husband David S. Drouin, her son Daniel Smith (Kerry) Moultonborough, daughter Christina Smith (Maurice) Punta Gorda, Florida grandchildren, Sarah, Maya and Maurice, Jr., her extended family in South Korea and her brothers-in law, John Drouin, Jr., (Lisa), Raymond Drouin (Karen) and Michael Drouin, sisters-in-law, Diane Dyke, Carol Drouin and Cindy Drouin and many friends, nieces and nephews. Kim was predeceased by her parents, one brother, her cherished grandson Tyler Smith, her father-in-law John G. Drouin, Sr., Katherine Drouin, ex mother-in-law Ruth Smith, brothers-in-law, Richard Drouin, Wayne Drouin, Neil Dyke, Sr., sisters-in-law Judy Drouin and Jane Eddy, niece Stephanie Drouin Rose and nephews, Joshua Dyke, John Ober and Kendal Gilfillion.

There will be a celebration of life in the spring of 2026.
