Chris Alford Obituary
Mr. Alford passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at his home in Lawton.
Chris was born on September 19, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Terry Alford and Saundra (Deshong) Goosey. He grew up in Indianapolis until his sophomore year when his family moved to the Lawton Fort Sill area where Chris graduated from Eisenhower High School. He worked for a while as a contractor. He then began his career with the City of Lawton Water Department and retired after 30 years. Chris married Teresa Russell and later married Tammy Heinz. She passed away in 2024 after 20 years of marriage. Chris enjoyed hiking, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his sons and his daughter in law, Chris and Amber Alford, of Lawton, OK and Jeremy Alford of Coppers Cove, TX; his grandchildren, Grace, Hailey, and Bentley; his brother, Anthony Alford; and his sister, Leesa Goosey.
