Linda Brown

Funeral service for Linda Brown, 78, of Geronimo, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2025 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Mrs. Brown passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Linda was born on April 12, 1947 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late J.C. and Mary Lee Gray Nichols. She went to school in Lawton, graduating from Lawton High. She worked as a nurse's aide for several years. Linda married Clyde Brown on December 31, 1965 in Lawton. They moved to Midwest City and lived there for many years. She owned and operated Linda's Beauty Shop before moving to Geronimo in 1995. She was a hairstylist at Ten Oaks and also operated a salon out of her home.

She is survived by her children, Jill Brown-Nievez and husband, Guy, of Oklahoma City, and Jana Brown, of Geronimo; two brothers, Dennis Nichols and wife, La Nette Nichols, and Lennis Nichols and wife, Vickie; two grandchildren, Adriana and Austin Bustamante; and her uncles, Wesley Gray and wife Glenda, Howard Gray and wife Barbara, and Gary Gray.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clyde; her brother, Tommy Nichols, and two nephews, Greg Nichols and Steve Nichols.
