Chris Elkins, age 44, of Copley, Ohio passed away on March 13th, 2025. He was born in Canton, Ohio on February 20th, 1981.
Chris married his sweetheart, Rachel, on July 3, 2010 and had two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Addison, whom he cherished deeply. He loved to spend time four wheeling, riding golf carts around, and fishing with his girls. He loved to relax with his dog, Nala, and cat, Bolt, by his side.
Chris was employed as a superintendent for a construction company and also worked as a carpenter. He was known as "Mr. Fix It" and never refused to help others. Chris' passion was fishing and any free time was spent on the water. He was a "sea shell hunter" and loved to walk the beach to find shells. He was a very talented artist.
Chris's smile was big as his heart.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Devore (nee Myers); his dog, Coco; and cat, Mootsie. Chris is survived by his wife, Rachel; daughters, Alyssa and Addison; father, Louis (Luke), mom, Lynn Beamer; and sister, Carissa Beamer.
He will be missed by his father- and mother-in-law, Ralph and Kathy Grajzl; his sister-in-law, Erin Dennison (Scott); and niece and nephew Madilyn and Nathan. He will be dearly missed by many others including his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to pay their respects from 5-8 P.M. FRIDAY March 21st, 2025 at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road Akron, OH 44333.
