Rochester: Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at age 97. Predeceased by his grandson, Alexander Small; sons-in-law, Kenneth Small, David Klos; sisters, Mary Coccia, Lois Palumbo and Pamela Palozzi. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Marlene Palozzi; daughters, Christine Klos (Don White), Debra Small, Mary Kay (John) Voellinger, Diane (Gordon) Neatrour; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Dominic Palozzi; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Martin and Rosemarie Lester; many nieces and nephews.
Chris was a retired parole officer from the State of New York, and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was an avid golfer at Churchville Golf Course, enjoyed his vegetable garden, and was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees and Notre Dame football, in which he shared this passion with his brother Dominic.
No prior calling. On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3000 Dewey Ave. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing, donations may be directed to Golisano Children's Hospital, 300 E. River Road, Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627-8996 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
