Anthony LoBiondo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. on Nov. 19, 2025.
LoBiondo, Anthony E.
Peacefully on August 21, 2025, surrounded by his family, Anthony's courageous battle of cancer ended and he went to be with the Lord. He is survived by his devoted and beloved wife of 71 years, Katherine (Sciarabba) LoBiondo; his adoring daughters Sharon (Carm Colagrande) LoBiondo, Lauren (David, Sr.) Lentine and the joys of his life grandchildren David Lentine Jr., Kyle (Kristina) Lentine, Jarred Lentine and great-grandchildren Dominic Lentine, David Lentine III, and Elena Lentine. He is also survived by his brothers Matthew LoBiondo and Philip LoBiondo, and sister-in-law Barbara Waver. Many special nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father, Philip LoBiondo, mother Mary LoBiondo Wahl, and sister, Mildred Papaleo.
In his 91 years Anthony was a hardworking man starting his career at Ritter Dental and later retiring from Simcona Electronics. In his spare time, he enjoyed tending to his vast vegetable garden, bowling, golfing, and swimming. When the time came to retire, Anthony and Katherine bought a home at Colonial Estates in Boynton Beach, Florida and spent the next 20 years as snowbirds. It was not uncommon to find Anthony on the dance floor at weddings and parties. He was everyone's favorite dance partner which included teaching his daughters the "standards." Anthony cherished family and traditions, learning family recipes and preparing them until it was time to pass them on. Tony would always say, "I've lived a good life, now it's your turn!"
The family would like to thank Lynn Sievert, NP, Wilmont Cancer Center, URMC Hospice team, and especially Kasey Perkins and the wonderful staff of the Aurora House for their care, compassion, and kindness during his final days.
On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, all are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Aurora House, 2495 S. Union Street, Spencerport, NY 14459 in his memory.
