Hamlin: Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at age 81. Predeceased by his parents, Charles & Josephine Mitrano. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jackie [Viccaro] Mitrano; children, John M. (Alaina) Mitrano, Jill Mitrano (David Tucker), and Joy (Jason) Campbell; grandchildren, Michael Mitrano, Anthony Mitrano, Isabella Campbell, and Juliet Tucker; brother, Charlie (Susan) Mitrano; sister, Mary Ellen Dangler; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jack Mitrano was a lifetime resident of Rochester. He retired from General Motors after 36 years. Jack worked countless hours to provide for his wife, Jackie, and children, John, Jill, and Joy. Family always came first to Jack, whether it was enjoying Friday night dinners at his parent's house with his wife and kids, Sunday coffee with Jackie's family, summer cookouts playing bocce ball with the Mitranos, or always making time to watch his children compete in sports, clubs, and social events. Cars were a huge part of his life. He took pride in making sure his vehicles were the cleanest you've ever seen.

Jack will be missed by all. He will always be remembered as a loving child, husband, father, brother, and friend.

Friends may call on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 pm at DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 1344 University Avenue, Suite 270, Rochester, NY 14607 in his memory.
