Chris Rother Obituary
Chris "Kiki" Rother (nee Blazej), age 61, of Libertyville. Loving wife of Bill Rother for 34 years. Devoted mom of Kyle Rother and Kenzie Rother. Stepmom to Billy Rother. Babcia of Caleb and Sienna Rother. Adored daughter of Stella Blazej and the late Frank Blazej. Cherished sister of Wally Blazej and Helen De Frank. Beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Memorial Visitation Tuesday, July 8th, from 3 pm to 7 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road), Wheeling. A life celebration service will be held at 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation and Women for Sobriety are greatly appreciated.

When CDW sponsored the national Scholastic Art & Essay contest, Chris was designated to bestow one of the awards. I was her PR person. As we sat together in Carnegie Hall in NYC, Chris spotted the actress Kathy Bates in the audience, and said she always wanted to meet her. I facilitated the introduction, and Chris went over to chat with her. When she returned to her seat, Chris was bubbling with joy and as happy as any of the kids getting their awards on stage. It was a special moment for her.
