Chris Danny Stewart, 56, of LaFayette, Georgia, departed this life on June 23, 2024, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was born on August 17, 1967, in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late William “Darnell” and Nora Gibbs Stewart.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fox hunting. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, William “Darnell” and Nora Gibbs Stewart, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Stewart.
Left to cherish the many memories include his beloved wife, of 15 years, Amanda Stewart, who he adored and loved whole heartedly; loving children, Reva (Billy) Oliver, Christopher Stewart, Jeremy (Cassie) Stewart, Isaiah Branam and Sadie Stewart; brothers, Allen (Robin) Stewart and Tracy (Linda) Stewart. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton with Pastor Terry Webb and Pastor Chad Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Ball Play Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home of Benton.
