Chris Haynes Weyers, born on October 26, 1967, in Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2025, at the age of 57. A lifelong resident of Wilmington, Chris was known and loved by many in the community.
Chris spent his early years working as a shrimper on his father's shrimp boat, embracing the ebb and flow of the coastal lifestyle. His life took a challenging turn after a car accident in his teenage years left him disabled. Despite this adversity, Chris faced life with resilience and a steadfast spirit.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Chris and Ella (nee Brown) Weyers, who undoubtedly shaped the man he became. Left to cherish his memory are his cousin, Christina E. Weyers, and many good friends who were touched by his enduring friendship and kindness.

Chris will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. May his soul rest in peace.
