'May Her Memory Be Eternal'

Chrisoula (Sialatis) Papaefthemiou, 90, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully at her home on October 29, 2025 surrounded by family.

Chrisoula was born in Pentalofos, Greece, daughter of Apostolos and Eugenia (Papadimitriou) Sialatis. She was the youngest of four children. She immigrated to the United States in 1966 with her beloved husband, Efthemios Papaefthemiou and her daughter, Anastasia Papaefthemiou. While raising her children, she worked for Western Electric. She was also an active member of Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church and the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society. She was an avid cook and always had something to put on the table for her family. She rolled her own filo dough until she was nearly 88 years old.

She is survived by her son, Constantine (Charlie) Papaefthemiou and his partner Christea Sardella of Haverhill; two granddaughters, Barbara Kallas and her husband Dominic of Haverhill and Tyra Papaefthemiou of Derry, NH; two great-grandchildren, Anthony Kallas and Anastasia Kallas; son in-law Mitch Labrie (Anastasia); and several nieces and nephews throughout the United States and Greece. She was predeceased by her husband, Efthemios Papaefthemiou and her daughter, Anastasia Papaefthemiou.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Service Tuesday in Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter Street, Haverhill at 11:00 AM. Please meet directly at the church. Interment will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
