In Loving Memory of Christina (Chrissy) Rubino Beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Fiance, and Friend
Christina "Chrissy" Rubino, a proud Bronx native and longtime Yonkers resident, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Born to Frank and Alice Rubino, Chrissy was the cherished eldest sister to Annette (Nettie) and Joanne, and sister-in-law to Jim and Joe. She was the adored aunt of James, Hilary, Nicole, Sean, Frankie, Bella, and Sofia, and the loving great-aunt of Thomas James. She cherished her nieces and nephews.
Chrissy was the fiancé of Walter Pitcher, her partner in love, laughter, and music. Together, they shared a vibrant life filled with unforgettable experiences, often surrounded by a cherished circle of friends.
She followed her father's footsteps working in the car industry and later in the medical field, where she made her mark as a Controller and Office Manager. She was known for her sharp mind, dedication, and the care she brought to every role.
To know Chrissy was to love her. Her infectious laugh, big heart, and unshakable spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She brought people together, whether through her music, her warmth, or her vibrant personality.
Chrissy's presence in our lives was a gift. She will be missed more than words can say, but her memory will live on in the music she loved, the family she cherished, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
A celebration of Chrissy's life will be held on June 25 where friends and family will gather to remember her beautiful soul, share stories, and, of course, play the music that made her smile.

The family will be present from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025 at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Services – 732 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704. A Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 AM on Thursday, June 26th at Saint John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704. Following the Mass, A Committal Service will take place at the Woolworth Chapel at the Woodlawn Crematory, Jerome Avenue, Bronx, New York 10470.
