Christian John Llames, affectionately known as "Pookie," was born on April 2, 1995, in Advocate Lutheran General Park Ridge, Illinois. He passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, in the same place that welcomed him into the world. At the young age of 30, Christian left an indelible mark on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A proud graduate of the Class of 2013 from Portage High School in Portage, Wisconsin, Christian showcased his diverse talents throughout his life. He carved a path as a machine operator on various pipelines, where he demonstrated his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. More recently, he gained recognition as a TikTok personality, captivating audiences with his creative flair, infectious laughter, and ability to bring joy to others through dance and music.
Christian was not only a talented individual, but also a cherished father, son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his beloved son, Gunnar Michael Llames, Gunnar's mother, Sierra Smith "Chase Ziegler". His family extends to include his Mother Amysu Bush, Father Stephen Kokesh, stepfather Michael Bush and stepmother Corinne Kokesh, Brother Zachary Kokesh, Brother Kyle "Lindsay" Kokesh, Nephew Liam, Sister Taylor Ball,, Uncle Joshua "Patty" Llames, Aunt Adriana "Eric" Cowdin, Aunt Amy "Mark" Kamrath, Uncle Michael "Angi" Kokesh, Aunt Sarah Evers, Aunt Tami "Travis" Barr, Aunt Amy "Bob" Wilcox, Aunt Gina Achterberg, Aunt Joanna Llames. He was also survived by several grandparents. Cheryl and Bruce Andersen, Pamela Kokesh and a very special grandma Susan D. Llames, Christian was her "Sunshine". He was also surrounded by many close cousins Josh Jr, Jake and Joey Llames, Samantha and Kylie Gotz, Jason "Brittney" Achterberg Jr, Chad "Riley" Minnema, Mikey and Morgan "Michael" Bennett, Brittany "Tyler" Johnson; Rachael Traynor (Kahliel, Trinity, and Carter), Tyler "Becky" Kamrath, Caitlyn "Scott" Mowatt, Bryanna "Mervin" Herschberger. Girlfriend Alexis Floyd, Dear friend Heather Miller, and Hilary Reichhoff and her boys that were always there for Christian no matter what. There are also many great Aunt's and cousins from Texas and Florida. Christian had an over whelming amount of friends and fans who admired him deeply.
He is preceded in death by several family members who will forever be remembered, including his grandfather Jack “John” Halley, his grandfather Gerald Kokesh, his grandfather William Christian Klingenmaier, and his grandfather David John Bush.
Christian lived life to the fullest, spreading happiness and laughter wherever he went. Christian also loved spending allot of time in the woods hunting or fishing in Lake Michigan with his family. In fact he has several big mounts to be proud of.
In a beautiful act of generosity, he chose to give the gift of life as an organ donor, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion. His creative spirit, zest for life, and ability to make every moment brighter will remain etched in the hearts of his loved ones and everyone fortunate to have encountered his vibrant personality. The world has lost a truly remarkable soul, but the memories of Christian John Llames will continue to inspire and uplift those who were lucky enough to share in his journey.
