Christian J. Waters

Christian (Chris) Waters, 62, died on December 29, 2025. He spent almost all his life living in Horsham, PA, where he worked as a water treatment specialist. He is the son of the late Elaine Waters, who died in 2024, and the late Joseph W. Waters, who died in 2015. He is survived by his brother Robert (Bob) Waters and his sister-in-law, Deborah Marrone.
Chris loved all Philadelphia sports teams: Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers. He loved music (especially the Grateful Dead) and going to concerts, which he started doing as a teen and continued throughout his life. He loved fishing, either out on a boat with his buddies or on the surf. He loved going to the shore in Cape May and capturing pictures of beautiful sunsets on his phone. He especially loved hanging out with friends and family and enjoying meals with them, or calling or texting with them on a frequent basis.
Relatives and friends are invited to come remember and celebrate Chris at a luncheon at the Clubhouse at the Village of Neshaminy Falls (195 Stump Road) in North Wales, PA on Saturday, January 10th at 1 pm and to wear Eagles green, Chris's favorite color during the fall and winter months.
No flowers please. If you'd like to donate in Chris's memory, please donate to a plant a tree group, a community garden, a battered women's shelter, or a homeless shelter. Chris was an avid recycler who decided many years ago that he wanted his own remains to be turned into a tree via a living urn.
