In accordance with our Heavenly Father's plan, Christian Ann Williams 37, was called home on Sunday, January 28,. 2024. After hearing the voice of her Father she answered, took his hand and left it all.
Christian was born March 26, 1986. She attended Hargrove Elementary School followed by Hobbton Middle School and Hobbton High School where she graduated in 2004. She later attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Christian worked for Solutions Accounting as the client liaison for over 6 years.
A Home Going Service will take place at 3:30 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Lisbon St, Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, 3 Sampson St, Clinton, NC 28328.
Visitation will be held 2:00-7:00 pm, with family present 6:00-7:00 pm, on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Family will receive guests other times at the home of her Aunt Adriene Howard, 5234 Keener Rd., Clinton, NC 28328.
Christian is preceded in death by her stepfather, James Broadhurst; her sister, Shuwanda Murphy; a special uncle, Charles Howard; paternal grandparents, Willie and Annie Murphy; and paternal uncles, Oscar and Freddie Murphy.
She is survived by her two fur babies, Solo and Chance; her mother, Nanet Williams Broadhurst; her father, Walter Murphy (Debra); sister, Whitney Pendergraft; grandparents, Lillie Fryar and Samuel Williams; two nieces, Zi'Unique Jackson and Za'Niya Pendergraft; and one nephew, I'Zayveon Williams.
