Christie Christofferson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 29, 2025.
Christie Ann Christofferson, 77 years old, of Hortonville, Wisconsin, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 28, 2025, surrounded by her daughters and her best friend. Christie was born in Rochester, Minnesota on October 25, 1947 to Kenneth and Margaret (Kenitz) Osman.

After graduating high school she went to college and became a LPN. When she married and had children, she continued to work in the healthcare industry until her retirement. Christie and her second husband started a rental property business. This was her true passion. She continued to manage properties until her passing.

Christie lived a simple life. She liked to knit and make other crafts. You could find her out in the yard working on landscaping and tending to her flower gardens. She liked to travel and go on weekend trips with friends and was always the life of the party. Socializing with her neighbors and spending time with her grandkids and other family is what she enjoyed most. Christie loved her dog, Daisy.

Christie is survived by her children, Bridgett Dake (Rodney Umland), Amy Coenen (Dale) and Megan Swiecichowski (Chris); grandchildren, Shyla (Ross), Carter, Bryce (Callie) and Hayden; great grandson, Cole. She is further survived by her siblings, Pat (Al), Lynne (Danny), Mary Jo (Gregg), and Johnny; ex-husbands, John Christofferson and Richard Kinison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Margaret; her sister, Susan; and her brothers, Tom and David.

Christie's family would like to thank her friends and neighbors, especially Pamela Schultz, Joelle Simpson, Patty Rehorst, and Dan Kuske. They would also like to thank the ThedaCare at Home Hospice Nurses for their care and support, especially Tess.

Per Christie's wishes, there will be no services.
