On Sunday, January 12, 2025, Christina Danielle 'Dani' Martin, 20, passed peacefully and suddenly in her home in Blacksburg, SC. She was born in Gaffney, SC on April 6, 2004. Dani spent her days doing what she loved most, gaming, playing music, and spending time with her grandmother, Kathy Jackson, whom she considered to be her mother. She was preceded in death by her father, Timothy Martin. There are so many people left on this earth who will miss Dani every day. She had 4 sisters: Julie Will(Jonathon) of Gaffney, Beth Collins(Darrell) of Ridgeville, SC, Merissa Martin of Gaffney, and Kailey Crocker of Gaffney. She also had 2 brothers: Joey Bagwell of Blacksburg and Ethan Crocker of Gaffney. She is also survived by her birth mother: Ashley Crocker of Gaffney, paternal grandparents: Benjamin Jackson, whom she considered to be her second dad, of Gaffney and Tony Martin(Augusta) of Smyrna, and maternal grandparents: Kenny Gordon and Robin Crocker of Gaffney. Her memory also lives on in her cousin, Jordan Blackwell, who she considered to be a special sibling.
A receiving of friends and family will take place Friday, January 17, 2025, from 2-3 PM, at White Columns Funeral Service, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.
Memorials may be made to Cherokee County Mental Health, 125 E. Robinson St., Gaffney, SC 29340.
