Christina "Christy" Kirby

Christina "Christy" Kirby, 75, of Murrysville, PA, formerly of Glen Dale, WV passed away January 3, 2025 at her home.
She was born October 21, 1949 in Wheeling, WV; the daughter of the late George and Margaret "Bobbie" Lewis McCulley.
Christy was a retired teacher from Marshall County Schools; a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, St. Jude Women's Guild, Ladies League of Marshall County, and the Retired Teachers of Marshall County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen "AK" Kirby; three brothers, George, Pat, and Tim McCulley; one sister, Jane Sandrick; and a nephew, Albert Lee Langley IV.
Survivors include, one daughter, Julie (John) Rodgers of Murrysville, PA; two grandsons, AJ and Luke Rodgers; one brother, Mike (Betty) McCulley of Cameron; two sisters, Marggie (David) Sweetman of Ketchikan, AK and Barb (Mike) Dorman of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters-in-law, Chris McCulley of Reynoldsburg, OH and Ellen (Gary) Bonar of Moundsville; brothers-in-law, Joe Sandrick of Glen Dale and Buck Robinson of Moundsville; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11am at St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale, WV with Fr. John Ledford as celebrant. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at St. Jude Hall.
