Christina Labut Obituary
Christina Labut, 90, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her home.
Christina was born December 24, 1935 to Joseph and Sophia (Skomra) in Orient, Pa. She had been an Akron resident most of her life and was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
Christina was preceded by her husband George in 2003; brothers Vincent, Joseph and Bernard; brothers-in-law John and Tommy Labut; and grandson Alex. She is survived by her children Denise (Steve Nigborowicz) Labut, Thomas (Kim Szanto) Labut, and Michael (Barb) Labut; sisters Patty, Babe and Carleen; sister-in-law Lynn Labut; grandchildren Lauren Labut, Olivia (Bobby) Evans, Madison (Russel) Smith, Megan (Jordan) Hite; great grandchildren LJ, Major and Easton; and many beloved family and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 Am to 1:00 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron where a service will follow at 1:00 Pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
