John Labut Obituary

John J. Labut

John J. Labut, 71, passed away December 2, 2015.

Born November 2, 1944, he graduated from Hoban High School in 1962 and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with 45 years of service. John will be deeply missed by his wife of 48 years, Lynn and his daughters and sons-in-law, Alisa and Bradley Wright and Lauri and Brian Cresswell Sr. He was a loving Nanu to his adoring grandchildren, Brian Jr., Brianna, Hannah, Dalton, Alexandra, Adrianna and J.J., and great-grandson Levi.

He will be waiting for us with a hot tip, a golf club in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other.

Private services have been held.

I was a classmate at St. John's. I enjoyed him playing the accordion for us. I passed John at Hoban, Goodyear and we always had a hello and kind words. May he find eternal peace with our saviour

Sorry to hear of your loss. John is in my prayers.
Went to grade school (St. John's) with John. Always enjoyed the days when he would play the accordion for the class. Raymond Para
