Christina Morse Obituary
Christina K. Morse, 79, of Grand Island, NE died on Friday, December 26, 2025 at CHI Health St. Francis.
To honor her wishes, cremation will take place. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River.
Christina was born on December 15, 1946 in Grand Island, NE Franklin and Katherine (Weikel) Morse. She grew up in Hamilton County and graduated from Phillips High School.
She was united in marriage to Lonnie Morse on February 8, 1969 in Aurora, NE. After which the couple lived in Cairo where she was employed by various beauty salons and later worked as a med aide at the Grand Island Veterans Home.
She enjoyed bowling, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Morse; sons, Bobby (Lori) Morse of Seabeck, WA, and Jamie (Veronica) Morse of Wood River; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and her brother, Richard (Janice) Morse of Littleton, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
