Obituary of Christine Marie Arslan
Christine M. Facchiano Arslan, 67, of Passaic, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Christine is survived by and missed dearly by her loving husband Aytekin (Ike) Arslan of 33 wonderful years; and her children, Chester and Marie (Luis) Arslan. Forever cherished and remembered by her three grandchildren Jahdiel, Matthew and Kayla. Dear sister of Michele Mittnacht, Peter Facchiano (Linda), Toni Kienzle, Michael Facchiano, Liza Temple (William). Beloved sister-in-law to Emine Arslan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father Pete E. Facchiano and her mother Genevieve (née Lutz), affectionately called Jean. Both of whom she held close to her heart
Born in Orange and raised in West Orange, NJ. Later, she moved to Passaic, where she lived for many years with her husband Aytekin and their children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and, until most recently, her beloved pup Josh.
Christine, called "Chris" by friends and family, had many professions throughout her life. For many years she worked as a legal secretary and most recently as a front end manager for Shoprite. Christine or "Chris" as we like to call her will be missed tremendously. May she forever rest in peace.
Family, friends and others whose lives Christine touched are invited to the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange on Monday, October 21, 2024. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
