Christine "Christy" Marie Foley

 

In loving memory of Christine “Christy” Marie Foley (October 14, 1987 - June 6th, 2023)

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Christine “Christy” Marie Foley, announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the age of 35.

 

Christy was born on October 14, 1987, to her parents, Penny Carter and Samuel “Gary” Foley, in Reidsville, North Carolina. Though her life was much too short, it was filled with an abundance of love. Above all else, Christy was both a lover and a fighter. She fought through every hardship that came her way and loved her family through it all. Her boys, Landon Ray New and Mason James Williams were her whole world, and she took great joy in supporting them every way that she could, doing so with a passion.

 

Christy truly had a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. She was determined and ambitious, caring and protective and was a giving and hard-working woman who would always go the extra mile for others.

 

Christy will be dearly missed by her sons, Landon New (age 15) and Mason Williams (age 10); her longtime love, Ronald Williams; parents, Penny Carter and Samuel “Gary” Foley; step-parents, Ernest Vernon and Erica Vernon; sisters, Ashley Vernon, Brittney Vernon, Mardea Mejia, Taylor Moffitt and Devyn Vernon; 9 nieces and nephews; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

 

It is with immense sorrow that we have had to say goodbye in this manner, but our family has taken great comfort in knowing that she is resting easy. May Christy find everlasting peace among her loved ones in Heaven.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville, North Carolina.
