Mrs. Christine (Barrett) Huff of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 100 years, 3 months and 11 days. She was born in Corbin, Kentucky, on Tuesday, July 21, 1925, the daughter of William Vernon & Isabell (Vanhook) Barrett. She was of the Baptist faith and a faithful member of Albany First Baptist Church. She worked as a school teacher for the Clinton County Board of Education for many years. She loved traveling overseas and especially enjoyed tours and river cruises. Within her church community, she was a dedicated member of the Ladies W.M.U. and served with devotion on the hospitality team. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Allen Huff Jr.,whom she wed on, July 20, 1962, siblings, Barbara Sue Daffron, Louis Warinner and Carl Barrett.
She is survived by her step-children, Lyle (& Beth) Huff of Albany, Kentucky, Lana Ellison of Byrdstown, Tennessee, grandchildren, Sarah (& Colby) Guffey, Robert (& Patricia) Huff, Charles Morrison, great-grandchildren, Reagan Guffey, Rylee Guffey, Lylah Huff, Layton Huff, and Luke Huff.
The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Albany First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Brown and Bro. Paul Stringer officiating. Pallbearers were Colby Guffey, Bobby Huff, Allen Flowers, Stacy Huff, Kevin Young, and Lyle Huff. Special music was provided by Carol Peddicord, and Marguerite Bertam. Burial was in the Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello, Kentucky.
Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
