Mrs. Erla Christine Duvall Keith, age 78 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Mrs. Keith was born June 16, 1947, in Ellijay, GA, to the late Rev. Edgar Duvall and Pearl Goble Duvall. Mrs. Keith worked many years for the Gilmer County School System and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Keith.
Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Leslie Keith; grandson, Walker Keith; sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Rev. Wallace Parks; nephews, Michael (Donna) Parks, Richie (Cissy) Parks, and Barry Parks; great nieces and nephews, Haley Parks, Drew Parks, Jenna Lowery, and Trace Parks; great-great niece and nephew, Berkley Lowery and Drake Parks.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 28th, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home, with Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Michael Parks, Richie Parks, Barry Parks, Drew Parks, Trace Parks, and Aaron Garland.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 27th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family requests no food be brought to the funeral home; however, flowers are acceptable, or those who desire may make donations to the Freddy Keith Scholarship Fund, c/o United Community Bank, 558 Industrial Blvd, Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Mrs. Christine Keith.
