Christine was born on February 14, 1930, in Laurel, MS, and passed away on December 5, 2024, in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Lawson Sr., daughter, Deborah Broadway, and son, Terry Lawson.

Christine was truly one of a kind – her unique sense of humor often brought laughter without her even trying and was stubborn to a fault. She loved her family with a fierce and unwavering love. She selflessly stepped into the role of both mother and grandmother to several of her grandchildren for many years.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a dedicated prayer warrior and was a long-time member of Christian Life Church. Christine was the oldest member of Chrisitan Life Church upon her death. Her church family held a special place in her heart; and she cherished the relationships and fellowship she found there. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Waggoner, Trey Lawson, George Broadway, Justin Lawson, Calvin Lawson, Corey Lawson. Honorary pallbearers are Devin Bound and Josh Armfield.
