Christine "Chris" Mae Pate, 66, of Panama City, Fl. went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia.

She was a devoted wife and mother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Christine loved her family, friends, and panda bears. She will be remembered for her commitment and thoughtfulness to others. She enjoyed listening to live music, tending to her flower garden and sudoku puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Joanne Hall.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Michael, her two daughters, Nicole Newsome (Johnny) and Amber Pate; grandson, Ryan Newsome; great grandsons, Cullen and Levi Newsome; sister Jenny Harrell (Charles) and special family friend Isabell King.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to VITAS Hospice Team for the support they provided during the end stage of Christine's long, courageous battle with dementia.
