Christine Stewart, 82 of Blountstown, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at her home. Christine was born in Altha, Florida December 8, 1942, to the late Roy and Inez Adkins and was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending days on the porch feeding birds and fishing when she could.
Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Ellis “Dick” Stewart; her son, James Stewart and her brothers and sisters, Leroy “Dobin” Adkins, Charles Adkins, Betty Sexton and Charlene Miller.
Survivors include her sons, Rubin Stewart and his wife Belle, Jeff Stewart and his wife Joann and Daniel Stewart and his wife April; her daughter, Annie “Sissy” Caughran and her husband Ross; her sister Susie Adkins; her grandchildren, Jessica, Scott, Kayla, Jeffrey, Austin, Aaron, Michael, Justin, Lyle and Paige; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunny Hill Cemetery near Altha. There will also be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
