Christine Cashatt Tucker

Christine Cashatt Tucker, 86 passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Piedmont Crossing. Born May 22, 1938, in Randolph County, she is a daughter of the late James Cashatt and Lou Etta Pierce Cashatt. Mrs. Tucker attended Pinion Business School and worked in banking and was a longtime member of Glenola Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her family. She was a special person to many people. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by her husband Billy Tucker, son-in-law Danny Gulledge and eleven brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by two daughters, Sharon Tucker Gulledge of Greenville, SC and Lori Tucker Swiggett and husband Scott of Archdale and five grandchildren, Matthew Gulledge and wife Brittany, Jessie Gulledge Joslin and husband Mark, Tucker Swiggett, Tyler Swiggett and wife Abby, Caitlin Swiggett and two great grandchildren, Allison and Jack Gulledge. She is also survived by one sister Pearl Cashatt Hunt of Kernersville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker will be held 1 pm Thursday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale with the Reverend Perry Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Glenola Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
