Born on October 20,1938 in Brooklyn New York to Paul and Fannie Affrunti. Chris graduated from St John's University in New York. Chris had a love for sports and was the happiest when he was with his family. He dedicated countless years of coaching many sports, most prominently the Franklin Square Warriors Football Club.
Chris will be lovingly remembered by his wife Martha, his loving children Elizabeth (Ralph), Paul (Lisa), Christopher (Anna), Joseph (Kimberly), Vincent (Lynn) and his doting grandchildren Jennifer (Emilio), Thomas (Teresa), Brittany (Alan), Ashley (Michael), Glenn, Christopher, Christopher, Joseph, Anthony, Vincent and Victoria. Loving great grandchildren Michael, Eloise, Emma, Sofia, Nina, Bennett. And his brother Anthony (Johanna.)
Family will receive friends Monday, September 19, 2022, 4-8pm with a 5:30pm prayer service at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 20, 2022, 2pm at Ascension Catholic Church. CLICK HERE TO WATCH PRAYER SERVICE (link will be active just before service time on Monday)
