Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford
Christopher Anthony Anderson,54, of Oxford passed away on Sunday, April 06, 2025, at Baptist Memorial North Mississippi.
The family will receive guest on Thursday April, 10, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford for a time of visitation and sharing memories of Christopher.
Christopher was welcomed into this world on June 24, 1970, in Pontotoc, Mississippi.
Christopher was a remarkable man, known for his wonderful sense of humor and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. He dedicated many years of his life to serving in the City of Oxford's Electric Department until his recent retirement. Outside of work, he found joy in appreciating the craftsmanship of classic cars and had a deep passion for firearms, where he was recognized as an exceptional marksman with handguns.
He truly loved the holiday season, often filling his home and yard with festive Christmas lights, bringing joy not only to himself but to those who passed by. Though he has left this world, the memories of his warmth and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones and friends.
Christopher leaves behind the following family to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; father, Bobby L Vaughn of Oxford, Mississippi; mother, Pam Anderson Stewart and her husband Dennis of Tupelo, Mississippi; two children; Katherine Anderson of Plantersville, Mississippi; Ryan Anderson of Oxford, Mississippi; fiancé, Tammy Heleniak of Oxford, Mississippi; lifelong friend, Johnny Earnest of Sardis, Mississippi; last and certainly not least his beloved dog Cletus.
The loved one who departed from this life includes his brother, Glenn Stewart.
In place of traditional flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to the Midsouth Transplant Foundation (https://tinyurl.com/4srz3jvh) or Canopy Children's Solutions (https://tinyurl.com/3dxfzpch)
Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford staff is honored to serve the family during this challenging season of life. Online condolences may be left on his Tribute Wall at www.colemanfuneralhome.com
