Christopher David Anthony, son of Kathern Anthony of Oran, Missouri and the late David Earl Anthony, was born on January 2nd, 1966 in Union City, Pennsylvania and departed his life on Saturday June 7th, 2025 at his home in Oran at the age of 59 years.
After graduation from Oran High School in 1984, he joined the United States Navy. And then worked construction which allowed him to travel to many states. He then went to work for Ingram Barge Company in 2002, and retired early in 2014 due to health issues.
Christopher was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Oran, and a member of Operating Engineers Local 101.
Along with his mother, Kathern Anthony; survivors include two sons, Brian Newcomb and David Christopher Anthony; one sister, Leslie Anthony and one brother, Patrick (Kimarie) Anthony; also, by other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life service will be conducted on Thursday, June 12,2025 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Family and friends will gather from 11:00 AM until service time. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapels in Oran assisting with arrangements
