Mable Flanigan Obituary
Mable Flanigan, daughter of the late Raymond Lee Finney and Pauline (Mobbs) Finney was born on April 27, 1942 in Commerce, Missouri and departed her life on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 83 years.
Mrs. Flanigan was a former Certified Nursing Assistant in the Scott County area and a homemaker. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Oran and a resident of Oran.
On November 17, 1960 she was united in marriage to Duel “Wayne” Flanigan Sr. in Bell City, Missouri. Mr. Flanigan preceded her in death on July 3, 2003.
Survivors include one son, Brian (Christy) Flanigan of Oran; one brother, Kurt (Nancy) Finney of Bell City; two sisters, Mildred Gregory of Benton and Deb (Don) Hendrix of Jackson; twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Duel Dewayne Flanigan Jr.,; two daughters, Kim Chesteen and Cathy Flanigan; one brother and sister-in-law Pete (Millie) Finney; and one brother-in-law, Jim Gregory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Oran. Funeral service will then be conducted at 12:00 noon with Rev. Brian Flanigan officiating. Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery in Bernie, Missouri.
