Santa Fe - Christopher Michael Baca (1959–2024), age 64, according to him, he was forever 25. He lived in Los Angeles, CA. Chris was born in Las Vegas, NM, and spent most of his adult life in Santa Fe, NM. Chris passed away unexpectedly in Los Angeles, CA, on June 15, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael, and sister, Valerie. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy, sisters Bernadette and Frances. His daughter Lisamarie, her husband Saleh, and their children David and Naya; daughter Rachael, her husband Lenny, and their children Vanity, Layla, and Cruz; daughter Alicia and her two children Asher and Theo; Ex-wife Therese, the mother of his children.
Chris was known to be an ambitious, social individual who embodied a sense of humor in his daily life. He held his family and friends close to his heart and always tried his best to help those in need. He will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
There will be a viewing held at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 E. Rodeo Road, 87505, on July 9th, 2024, from 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. for family and 5:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. for the public.
A rosary will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi at 131 Cathedral Pl., Santa Fe, NM 87501 on July 10th, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., with the mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow. Reception will be announced after the services at the mass.
